Charles Evans Morgan Sr.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Morgan was a faithful member of Hixson United Methodist Church. He loved his Lord and Savior deeply, and his children and grandchildren were truly the love of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glyndon and Evans Morgan, and by his beloved wife of 38 years, Patricia Morgan.

He is survived by his children: Chuck and Jerri Morgan of Ringgold, GA; Pam and Keith Jones of Olive Branch, MS; and Chris and Robin Morgan of Shreveport, LA; his sister, Gaye Hedden and her husband, Jim; and his former wife, Lynda Bridgman.

He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchild: Charlie and Erin Morgan and their son, Jericho Reece, of Richmond Hill, GA; Jerin Morgan and Kallie of Ringgold, GA; Chase and Hannah Jones of Olive Branch, MS; Carson Jones and Lily of Olive Branch, MS; Clay Morgan of Austin, TX; and Chloe and Cooper Morgan of Shreveport, LA. Mr. Morgan is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews, as well as many lifelong friends with whom he shared unbreakable bonds.

Charles was truly one of a kind, with a sense of humor like no other. He loved life, his family, and his Lord with his whole heart. Known as the best salesperson you would ever meet, he never met a stranger and left a lasting impression wherever he went.

Services will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, at 3:15 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

A graveside service will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
