We are so sorry to learn of Bud’s passing. He was a mentor to me when I began my career at TVA. Bud taught me about life and faith and the importance of family-even more than about work. He was much more than a co-worker; he was a friend.
Gail and I enjoyed visited with Bud and Lee whenever we saw one another - usually on Sundays after church. It was so easy to catch up and learn what the grandchildren were up to.
His was a life well lived and his positive influence on others will be remembered for generations.

My brother and I worked with Bud for many years at the Control Center at TVA. He always had a smile and a positive attitude. I enjoyed talking with him about most any subject, because he had some knowledge of just about everything. We shared a love for the Vols through thick and thin. I hope he continued to enjoy good health in his later years - he really was a fantastic guy. I’m so glad I got to know him.

I’m so sorry for your loss! He was special!
