Charlotte Ann (Haggard) Swain

Charlotte was born in Chattanooga to the late Clarence and Clara Mae Haggard. She graduated from Kirkman High School. Charlotte retired from Memorial Hospital with over 20 years of service. She was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lamar, Harvey and Ronnie Haggard.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Lisa Swain, Johnny Swain, Creta (Charles) Parent, and Lori (Mike) Atkins; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Gail) Haggard, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, July 7, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, July 8, at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
