Christopher Alan McCool, 60, formerly a resident of Athens, Alabama went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2017. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from TVA Brown’s Ferry Nuclear Plant. He served in the Air Force and enjoyed: music, water skiing and rock collecting among many other hobbies and interests. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty McCool and brother, Dennis Delozier. He is survived by his father, William “Bill” McCool; daughters, Angela (Chad Holland) McCool and Michelle McCool (Jason) Allman; grandchildren, Katie McCool, Caleb McCool, Nate McCool, Ellie Allman, Clay Allman and Corbin McCool and one great-grandchild, Laken McCool. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 7 from 1 to 3 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel with a funeral service following immediately after at 3 pm. Interment will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
