Beloved Nephew , he was a brilliant young man, full of life and love. Although I remember him as a very young boy, , I was at work one day on the beach and I spot this youngster running for all he's worth on the sand. Hmmm, I look for a parent, and suddenly the Dad is trying to catch up with him, this kid is really moving . You know, that looks like my nephew... and that looks like Pat. A few moments later, it Was. Amy is walking up the path, and our eyes meet, what a joy. They were in town visiting our old apt on the beach and happened by my work. I told her that this kid is running and I'm looking for the parents out of concern, but this youngster is really fast., she smiles and says this is his first time on the west coast and ,Yes ,he's. very fast and loves the outdoors.
Amy , this is my best memory of young Colin so full of zest , a beautiful smile . A proud Uncle, your big Brother and so loving , our Family. I remember the he day you were born. And Grandma Fidi comes to greet us after school she's smiling and waving her arms . " you have a new sister" , now years later you're starting your own family. A beautiful boy Colin is , every phone call he'sgetting bigger , smarter, faster. Recent events and texting, calls, hes showing a bright future. Indeed, a drivers license, ROTC, band, . My heart is heavy , our loss , Your loss, , thank God Colin got to really Live, Love. My daily prayers since his sudden passing. Cannot compare to yours and Pat's loss. His many friends, and his compassion for his fellow man will live on through the many people he's touched and greatly affected their lives makes me immensely proud.
Colin I love and loved you like my own son as our father had shown us in my youth. Amy , Pat, my heart my love
Goes out to you both. Colin is with our ancestors who've been watching from above with joy, and now he Soars with the Angels. God Speed , Love !!!

Colin was such a joy to be around. I was in band and JROTC with him and even though I only knew him a year he had such a great impact on me. He would cheer on other people just to see them accomplished their goals. He was so supportive and would never shy away from lending a helping hand. He taught me so many things in the short time I knew him. He did everything with such dedication and I always admired him for that.. He had such a bright smile that he'd show off everyday and always put his best foot forward. He will forever be missed.

I first really met Colin in 8th grade we had classes together. In 9th grade is when we started getting close from having AFJROTC together and we started growing closer and closer to the point I was able to talk to him about everything. Colin was such a sweet and kind person he really knew what words to say to me. He was always there for me. We had so many good times together, especially this summer when it would be just me him and Katelyn we always had fun together and he always put a smile on my face and he still does. I’m so glad I got the chance to be able to meet a sweet hearted boy like him. I love you so so much Colin.

I would like to say THANK YOU to Colin and his family for being such a positive part of AFJROTC. Personally, I became close to Colin and he was someone I could trust to get a job done and knew he loved his cadets. He is truly a Citizen of Character!

Amy, Pat, Pam,

I write this with such a heavy heart. Please know that Colin and each one of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Colin will always be remembered as an amazing young man, a friend, leader, and a brilliant student. He had an amazing smile, was such a hard-working Cadet and always made class and events so very fun. Colin cared so much for others and would go out of his way to help anyone. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know such a fine person. Colin absolutely adored his parents and fondly spoke about times he had with you, always with a smile. I hope you can find the Lord’s peace during this difficult time. Colin – We Love You! God Bless.

Colin was around my family when we first moved here. My brother and him played basketball together for a little while but I didn’t know him really well. As we entered the middle school years he helped me through band and becoming a better percussionist. He always tried to get me into rotc my freshmen year but I always turned it down. But once I joined I knew he did it to make me a better person and help friends more. He showed me how to keep pushing hard when things got really hard, and one of the best memories was MCOLS. he was my battle buddy through every event and never left my side. He’s always gonna be in my heart and in my thoughts for the rest of my life. Love you friend, rest well.
