Danny R. Hixson

Danny was born in Dayton, Tennessee to the late Beecher and Ina Pearl Boyd Hixson. He retired from the Y-12 Nuclear Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He attended Sale Creek Church of God.

Danny is survived by his wife, Loraine Ottinger Hixson; his daughter Dana H. Massengill (Larry); his son James Hixson; and his daughter Jana Dixon (Phillip); his brothers Boyd Hixson (Diane) and Steve Hixson.

Danny was preceded in death by his granddaughter Keira.

He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, February 3, and 10 to 11 am on Saturday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration for Danny will follow at 11 am on Saturday at the North Chapel with Reverend Seth Stewart officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
