Danny was born and raised in Jamestown, Tennessee. He moved to Cleveland, Tennessee in the 1970’s before moving to the Chattanooga area in the 1980’s. Danny loved God and being a member at Red Bank Baptist Church. He is currently employed with Benton Oil Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Jones.
Danny is survived by his wife, Carmen Jones; daughters, Gina (Jerry) Bingham and Crissy (Matt) Rector; grandchildren, Brittany, Cody, Abbigail and Nate; great granddaughter, Braylan; mother, Virginia Jones; brothers, Eddie (Susan) Jones, Randy (Kim) Jones and Wayne Jones; all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews. “Paw” loved his grandchildren, and his family.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the North Chapel.
Services for “Paw” will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the North Chapel with Rev. Bert Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank his special friends at Benton Oil, Ross and Margaret Benton, Wendy Higdon, Kristina Henderson at Hospice of Chattanooga and Dr. Luke Speikermann and Rosalee for their love and support of Danny during his illness.
