David Edward Casey, Sr., 53, of Hixson, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. David was known as an outdoorsman as well as a man whose happiest moments were spending time with his family. David served in the Army in Korea where he met his wife, Yon. David will always be remembered as a man who was very proud of his 2 great sons.
Mr. Casey was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Everett and Ellen Ovett Casey and by his brother, Harold Casey, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Yon Ok Casey; sons David E. Casey, Jr. and Jerry E. (Brittney) Casey; brothers, Tom (Debbie) Casey and Jim (Pat) Casey; sisters, Anita (Perry) Leanna and Marietta Casey; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at North Chapel and again on Saturday from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
