I met Neecie when she came to the Assisted Living. She always had a smile for me. She will be missed.

My husband Jim Madden and I met Denease thirty odd years ago through our participation in the local APA pool league. Talented, independent and a fierce mama bear, she has always been an inspiration to me. She truly embraced all life had to offer. I thoroughly enjoyed every pool match we played and always looked forward to the next one, although more often than not her game was better than mine. She loved the yard sale every August on Signal Mountain and she, Valerie and I enjoyed admiring each others treasures. We miss and love you Neecie!

The world should learn a lesson from Mrs. Reagan, she spoke poorly of no one and no one spoke poorly of her. She was a huge inspiration to all she touched. Her religious values are what this world lacks. She was always smiling and full of life. As we all know life isn't always fun but you would never know this if your spent 15 minutes of your life speaking to Mrs. Reagan. I deeply miss her and her wisdom. Hope to see you again one day.

What a remarkable lady! I feel so very fortunate to have known Neecie for so many, many years. My fondest memories of her: always with a smile, always with the personal touch, more energy than I can muster, such independence she proved, the best mom anyone could hope for, and the world's best chili chef (although with a heavy price to pay). You will be missed, Neecie, remember your 8's on the break!
