Diane Breedlove

Diane was the youngest child of 4 girls and 4 boys. Her working career included being a truck driver, factory worker and a short lived business partner. During her life she chipped away at her “bucket list”, to which she achieved most all before her passing. She traveled, she trail blazed, and invested in people and business to which she was rewarded abundantly. Diane even went sky diving!

She made better the lives that she touched with purpose and compassion. Diane loved animals, even at the end with a goat named “Ruthie”.

To friends and family she was nicknamed “Sunshine” because she was radiant in everyday life and the lives of others around her. Diane enjoyed softball in her youth and young womanhood with her sister Estelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert G. and Ezelle Arledge Breedlove; her sister, Dollie A. Whaley; and 2 brothers, Roy A. Breedlove, and Edwin C. Breedlove.

Diane is survived by her sisters, Linda F. Russell, and Estelle S. Rollins; and brothers, Joseph G. Breedlove, and Terry L. Breedlove; nieces and nephews, Allen Williamson, Carolyn Williamson, Donna Golob, Daniel Roberts, Luke Breedlove, Grant Breedlove, Candy Johnson and many other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Diane never had children of her own but was blessed with many nieces and nephews to mentor and help raise. She lived a simple life- simply.

Services for Diane will be private and held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tennessee 37343.
