She was a member of ValleyBrook and loved to play golf until her back surgery in 1997. Donna took up quilting immediately to fill the void. She was a member of the Chattanooga Quilters Guild. Donna was talented and loved all types of needle work and knitting. She was a Life Master bridge player and loved the competition. Donna loved to travel, and she traveled to all 50 states and several foreign countries. Donna also was an avid Lady Vols Basketball fan and traveled to Knoxville for all the home games as well as all the SEC schools and many NCAA Tournaments.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Lucie Moore Bruce
She is survived by her husband Alan Myers; children Vicki (Mike) McSpadden of Dayton, Tennessee; Mark ( Kim) Myers of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee
4 grandchildren Daniel McSpadden, Jeff McSpadden, Morgan Myers, Haley Myers
The family will receive friends from 10 am – 1 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2012
A prayer and song will follow the visitation in the parlor with Rev. Sam Harris
