Dorothy “Dot” L. Reynolds, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, Dec. 24, 2010. A long-time resident of the Chattanooga area, Dot was a long-time East Ridge School Patrol Officer, having served on Moore, Spring Creek and Ringgold Roads.
She was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church, where she participated in the Ladies’ Sunday school class, the Senior Group and Crafting Group. Dot was an avid traveler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Eugene Reynolds; three sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by two children, James Lloyd (Sandy) Reynolds and Judy (Joe) Bayless; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 27 from 4 to 8 PM at North Chapel. A service will be held Tuesday, December 28 at 11:30 AM at North Chapel with Rev. Brian Williamson and Rev. Greg Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
