Doug Cordell

Doug Cordell, of Hixson, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Doug was born and raised in Chattanooga. He retired from Siskin Steel after 30 years of service. Doug was preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Carolyn Cordell; grandparents, Bill and Leona Cordell; mother, Shelby Hayes; brother, Danny Cordell and step-mother, Lucille May. Survivors that will miss Doug is his father, J. T. Cordell; sister, Helen (Ben) O’Daniel; step-brother, Butch and Janie May and lots of cousins. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Graveside services for Doug will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, August 6, at Hamilton Memorial Garden for all of his relatives and friends.
