Earlene was a dedicated caregiver to many family members before she had a stroke 16 years ago. She enjoyed baking huge trays of cookies and candy to share with family and friends. She had been involved with the Young at Heart Group at Burks United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Tolbert, her sister, Hilda White, and her brother Raymond Baker. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Brown, son in law, and Bob Brown, and grandson Kevin Brown. She is also survived and loved my several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:30 am Saturday, August 6, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 10-11:30 Saturday.
The family would like to thank the visitation team at Burks United Methodist Church for their visits, cards and books. The family is especially grateful for the loving and compassionate care provided by the West Wing staff at Soddy Daisy Health Care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burks Methodist or Stuart Heights Baptist Church.
