Earnest H. Scott, age 90, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired Sergeant Major from the U.S. Army Reserve with 31 years of service. He was retired from DuPont as an electrician. Earnest was a York Rite Mason Hill City #603 F & AM and a member of Alhambra Temple. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Chattanooga Community Kitchen, 727 E. 11th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 11 am to 12 pm followed by a funeral service at 12 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. Interment will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
