She was born November 14, 1940 in Chattanooga to the late John W. and Viola Wilson Brumlow.
She was a retired CNA from Siskin Hospital after 15 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl William Goins, Jr.; daughter, Carla J. Willis; and siblings, Elizabeth Arwood, Nellie Barfield, Bonnie Holdaway, Martha Gentry, Juanita Huckabee, Barbara Goins, Arthur Brumlow, and Ike Brumlow.
Survivors include her children, Carol Spencer of Soddy Daisy, Cheryl Kalmar of Chattanooga, and Carl W. “Bud” Goins III of Chattanooga; sister Clorina Jenkins of Ooltewah; brother, Wesley Brumlow of Rossville; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the North Chapel with Rev. Bill Harvey officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
