I was in her White Oak 1st grade class over 52 years ago and I remember falling through the jungle gym at recess, she cared for me and comforted me and just made all things better as a genuine teacher would do, I've never forgotten her and this memory brings tears to my eyes even to this day.

Betty was Grammy to many including my kids. Her support of the ministries of St. Luke UMC were to be admired. Thank you Chip, Bill and Carol for sharing your mom. Rest in peace, Betty. You were loved!

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Betty .... I am blessed to know her daughter Carol. Knowing what kind of person Carol is ... tells me what a Godly Women & Mother Betty was. Carol ... I know you will miss her dearly ... I will be praying for you and your family.

In Christ,
Mike
