Lee was born and raised in Knoxville Tennessee, where she attended Knoxville High School. She met and married the love of her life Bud Pressley, and they were together for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Pressley, son Greg Pressley, and grandson Noah Pressley
She worked at Children's Hospital in Surgery for many years, followed by a career with JC Penney as the special events coordinator. She retired from this job to be a full time NANA to her many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Lee was a faithful member of Central Baptist Woodmore Church followed by attending Ridgedale Baptist Church.
She enjoyed attending her family's varying events including athletic pursuits, musical concerts and performances. She was also an avid cook and seamstress putting these talents to many years of service to her family and others. A gracious and welcoming hostess she was always ready to provide for family and friends. Lee will be long remembered for her style, grace and sense of fashion.
She is survived by her children, Vickie (Gary) Meredith, Mark (Lisa) Pressley and Susan Pressley; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Pressley Tallent and sisters Wanda King and Brenda Harkleroad.
Grandchildren: Sean (Maureen) Meredith, Ryne (Mandi) Meredith; Suzanne (Dennis) Clemons; Bryn (Lori) Meredith; Tanya Meredith King; Ian (Sommer) Meredith; Val (Lisa) Meredith, Marina (Ike ) Jackson and Tevis Meredith; Brock Pressley, Austin (Abby) Pressley; Micah (Bailey, fiancée) Pressley, Abigail (Ben) Butler, Mary Kathryn Pressley, Blake Meredith, Elijah Krukowski, Megan (Heath) Autry, Amie Usry and Derrick Usry. Great Grand Children: Bryson and Brady Meredith; Presleigh and Kyler Meredith; Alexa and Laney Clemons; Harper and Greyson Meredith; Dylan, Erik, Trever, and Trenten Meredith; Valen and Beau Meredith; Lily Jackson; Kennedy Meredith; and Emory and Esther Autry.
A special thanks to our Visiting Angels who lovingly cared for Mom these last few months, especially Katie, Jennifer, Mallari, Mariah, Sarah and Nancy. We also wish to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their kind attention and support during this time.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Ridgedale Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Plumlee officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service at the church.
