Mrs. Dove was born in Lenoir City, TN to Robert and Lillian Harris. She was a longtime member of Alpine Baptist Church and retired from the accounting department at Brock Candy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon W. Dove, Sr.; and son, Vernon W. Dove, Jr.
Surviving are her son, Bill (Patsy) Cross of Sebring, FL.; daughters, Mary (Robert Terry) Crumbliss of Chattanooga, Judy (Allan) Wilson of Harrison and Terri (Jimmy) Mabry of Hixson; grandchildren, Ron Cross of Augusta, GA, Stacy Allen of Lakeland, FL, Kerry Denton of Chattanooga, Karen Crumbliss of Nashville, Rob Crumbliss of Chattanooga, Jill Barsoumian of Harrison, Cathy Wilson of Harrison, Krystie Wilson of Harrison, Erin Springfield of Chattanooga, Colin Mabry of Hixson, Alexander Dove of California and Brandon Dove of Hixson; brother, Roland Harris of Tampa, FL; and sister, Polly Fitzpatrick of Jacksonville, FL.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon on Friday, February 25th at the funeral home with Rev. Jimmie Fowler officiating and visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist.
