He had an active ceramic studio that offered lessons for many years. Gene’s livelihood before retirement was teaching special needs students in both Walker and Catoosa County, Georgia. He loved working with “his kids.”
He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-six years, Ella Rose; daughter, Bethann Rose and special friend, Aulcie Smith.
He leaves behind him to mourn his loss his sons, Stephen Rose, Hans (Casey) Rose and daughter, Kaye (Paul Camp) Rose; grandchildren, Dusty (Kristen) Rose, Evan (Teri) Rose, Ella Rose and Hunter Jones along with an impending great-grandchild, Emeryson Rose.
Family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
