She was a longtime member of Hixson First Baptist Church and a charter member of King Terrace Baptist Church in Largo, Florida, where she served 25 years. Eula was called by Jesus to teach and she spend most of her active years teaching Sunday School Class. What a privilege to be called into the God’s service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Martha Gothard; brothers, Larry, Roy and Ulysses Gothard; husbands, Frazier Conner and Mansford Emling; sister, Mamie Worley; niece, Martha Rose Smith.
She is survived by four nephews, Donald, Gary “Bob”, James and Roy Worley; niece, Elsie Mae Layne.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 pm on Sunday, June 5, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Eula’s Life will be held at 11:30 am on Monday at the North Chapel with Reverend Terry Shannon officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
