

Mrs. Lynch was a graduate of Marshall College and was a former teacher and homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the OWLS Bible Study Group, and the Forget-Me-Nots Senior Group. Other involvements were the Cloverdale Neighborhood Association; the United Daughters of the Confederacy where she served as Honorary Tennessee President; Submarine Veterans of WWII; and associate member of the USS VI Haddo Base.
She married her late husband, Howard L. Lynch on June 10, 1947 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Survivors include her sons, Steven (Linda) Howard Lynch of Belle Haven, Virginia; Timothy (Vicky) Earl Lynch of Sanford, Florida; daughters, Susan (John) Maddux of Spring City, Tennessee; Margarette “Peggy” Eagle of Chattanooga; brother-in-law, Harold (Virginia) Lynch of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia; 9 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Chris Hansen officiating.
Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from Wednesday 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the North Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 5001 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tennessee.
