Florence Giddings Foster passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. She was 104. She preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Foster, her brother, Laurence Giddings, her sister, Ada G. Smith, her parents, Carlton and Ella Giddings and her grandson, Larry Glenn Foster.
She is survived by her son, Laurence (Larry) E. Foster and her granddaughter, Theresa L. Foster.
Florence was born on the island of Hawaii where she attended school and graduated from Punaho School in Honolulu. She moved with her sister to Southern California in the 20’s where she spent most of her life until she moved to Chattanooga in the 90’s.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 822 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
