Frances Travis Hale, 79 of Chattanooga passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Methodist faith.
Frances, a devoted wife and mother, was extremely talented with many hobbies and interests. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed refinishing antique furniture and gardening.
She was the daughter of the late Marshall and Audrey Travis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell (Tom) Hale.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Hale; son, Tommy (Kay) Hale.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the North Chapel with Rev. Ernest Sutton officiating.
Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2010 and on Tuesday from noon until time of the service at the North Chapel.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Arthritis Foundation.
