

Born in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late Gloster and Ellen Picklesimer Guffey. She was a longtime resident of Chattanooga and retired from Flexible Foam. Frankie was a member of Hillside Baptist Church where she was known as the “Candy Lady’ because she gave candy to everyone who entered the door.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armando Olivas and three sons, Gerald, Jerry and Christopher Olivas.
Frankie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Charles Tanner and Karen and Mikey Glenn; grandchildren, Jeremy Tanner, Michael Glenn and finance’ Lori and Jared Glenn and finance’ Hollie and Patience Miller and friend Ray; great grandchildren, Frederick and Stephen Miller; sister, Lena Thomas; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved Maltese, Tiffany.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, August 17, and 10:30 to 11:30 am on Tuesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A celebration of life service for Frankie will follow at 11:30 am on Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Cape officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Soddy Daisy Healthcare facility and Amedysis Hospice for the love and care given to Frankie.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hillside Baptist Church, 6311 Dayton Blvd., Hixson, TN 37343
