Amy Gail Anderson, a life long resident of Red Bank went to start her new life on January 27, 2011 after a long battle with cancer in a local facility.
Gail was a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Easter Star #483 and Past President of Helping Hands. She held many positions in the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #4848, Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #95. She was retired from TVA.
Survivors are her mother, Jeanette Osborne; son Ronald Anderson; brother, Gary Patterson; sisters, Susan (Robert) Mattingly and Sambra Osborne; two grandchildren, Daniel Anderson and Brian Anderson.
Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 30 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating with an Order of Eastern Star service. Entombment will be at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 8 P.M. Saturday and from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital Transportation Fund, Alhambra Shrine, 1000 Alhambra Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421-3701, Attn: Transportation Unit Fund.

Gail was my traveling buddy in the vfw for many years and I enjoyed her company
