George was born on August 8, 1923 in Estelle Springs, Tennessee. He was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. George was a decorated World War II veteran serving our county in the U. S. Army. He retired from United Package Store on Market Street.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Bobby Brewer.
He is survived by three children, Rita, Ronnie and Rebecca Fisher; grandchildren, Melinda Barnes, Miranda Brooks and Jeremy Fisher; five great grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 on Tuesday and 1:30 to 2:30 on Wednesday at the North Chapel.
Services for George will be held at 2:30 on Wednesday at the North Chapel with Rev. Ted Painter officiating.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
