

George was a member, Deacon and Elder of First Christian Church, 650 McCallie Avenue since joining the church in 1953. He was a talented wood turner and a member of Chattanooga Area Woodturners Club. George was also a savvy business man who established and ran his own machine tool distributorship; Fiske Machine Tool CO. Bud was also a veteran of WWII
George was the son of the late Earle A Fiske, Sr. and Bertha E. Porter of Upton Massachusetts. Also preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Jane Bell Fiske, a daughter Faye Anne Rogers, one brother Earle Jr. and sisters Helen Southwood and Evelyn F. Fowler
George is survived by his wife of 16 years, Alisha Faye Smith Fiske of Soddy Daisy; four daughters, Wendy (Buford) Watson of Blaine, TN and B.J. Fiske and her partner Marsha Beach of Grand Junction, CO and Jenny ( Mark) Lawrence of Lakeland, TN, Sandra J, Schreeder ( Michael) of Hixson, TN grandchildren Anna ( Brent) Curvin, Black Mtn., NC, Taver( Amy) Leedy,Bean Station, TN and Sarah ( Dennis) Nicely, Maynardville, TN and Mithcell Lawrence, Lakeland, TN and one great grand-daughter, Gracie Leddy. Brtoher Ernest P. Fiske ( Jermaine Gaudette) Fiske. Sister Marion “Tiny” ( Bob) Prentiss of Upton, MA and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, August 27 Chattanooga National Cemetery at 10 am with military honors.
