George L. Stewart, Jr., 91, of Hixson, Tennessee passed away on March 20, 2020. He was a member of Hixson Presbyterian Church and was a franchise owner of Goodyear. George was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War, graduate of Ole Miss with a BS degree and was an avid woodworker. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and flying.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Marylee Stewart, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sarah Stewart; son, George (Candace) Stewart, III; grandson, Steven Stewart; numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Hixson Presbyterian Church, 1450 Jackson Mill Dr, Hixson, TN 37343.
Private services will be held for the family.
