She was born in Odessa, Texas and has been a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. Gloria was a former employee with Mills and Lupton and retired from Eckerd Drugs.
She was preceded in death by her husband who was a Baptist minister, Reverend Billy J. Kellogg; a daughter, Janice Deann Dyer and a grandson, Randy Bryan Dyer.
Gloria is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Carol Kellogg; grandchildren, Cheri Minton, Angela Ramsey and husband Richard, Stephen Kellogg and Becky Holbert and husband Marty; great grandchildren, Randy and Brandon Minton, Amanda O’Neal and husband Stewart, Amber Davis and husband Jeremy and Chris Snyder and wife Heather; eight great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home
Graveside services for Gloria will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, September 16, at Chattanooga National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Gloria’s name to the American Cancer Society 6221 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
