Gracemartha Bradbury

Gracemartha Bradbury, age 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, surrounded by her children. She was born Gracemartha Fuller on August 26, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to John Edward Fuller and Beatrice Iva Elwell (Connauton) Fuller.

Gracemartha was a devoted homemaker and mother. For 66 years, she was the loving wife of Ronald Kent Bradbury. Nothing brought her more joy than her family, and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who fueled her spirit throughout her life. She also adored her furry companions, Sam, prior to his passing, and more recently Peanut, who brought her daily joy and shared her home and her heart. She held a deep and abiding love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her faith was the foundation of her life. She made her home in Chattanooga, where she was cherished by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beatrice Fuller.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ronald Kent Bradbury; her brother, Jef (Marge) Fuller of Powhatan, Virginia; her four children, Debbie (Bryan) Gross of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Kent (Angela) Bradbury of Dallas, Texas; Rebecca (Chris) Lusardo of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and John Bradbury of Atlanta, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Andrew Gross, Rachel Gross, Jessica Daniels, Grace Price, Alex Bradbury, Kimberly Lusardo, Tori Bradbury, and Lily Bradbury; and three great-grandchildren, Ellason Daniels, Jayson Daniels, and Emmerson Daniels.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, October 16, and 11 am till 1 pm on Saturday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home with Mike Newton officiating. Interment to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
