He was a longtime resident of Chattanooga and served our country during the Korean War in the U. S. Army. Harold retired from the Chattanooga Police Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Walter and Bessie Sanders Harmon; sister, Frances Trimble and a brother, Clyde Harmon.
Harold is survived by his wife of 44 years, Peggy Allen Harmon; three children, Stephen Harmon, Rickey W. (Marion) Jones and Sheila (Tony) Isom; three grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Emily Jones and Gabriel Isom; niece, Tanya Bell; and his adopted daughter, Suzette Carpenter.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Monday and 1:30 to 2:30 on Tuesday at the North Chapel.
Services for Harold will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday at the North Chapel. Burial will be private for the family only at National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
