Willie retired from the Houston Fire Department after 25 years of service in the Arson Division. He was an avid golfer. Willie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a dear friend to many. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Chris Wilson; step-son, David Wright; his parents and a sister.
Harold is survived by his wife of 39 years, Billie Sue Wilson; daughter, Hyla Curtiss; grandson, Chance Curtiss; 4 great grandchildren; step-son, Wayne Wright and 3 step-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family will meet at 11:30 am EST on Wednesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home and leave at 12 (noon) and travel together to the cemetery in Dunlap.
Graveside services for Willie will be held at 1 pm EST on Wednesday, October 23, at Hixon Cemetery off East Valley Road in Dunlap with his friend Keith Mabee presiding.
