Nora Helen Dean Hartman, 93, of Hixson, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016.
She was born in Isabella, TN, daughter of Glenn M. Dean Sr. and Myrtle S. Dean. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Hartman; brothers, Glenn M. Dean Jr. and Jerry Dean; and sister, Doris Wilson.
She was a 1940 graduate of Chattanooga Central High School and a longtime member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Joe Hartman, of the home; daughter, Lydia Blow and husband, Jimmy, of Valrico, FL; granddaughters, Candy Martin and husband, Mark, of Anderson, SC, and Janae Mooneyham and husband, Michael, of Valrico, FL; eight great-grandchildren; and caregiver, Roberta Marrs.
Funeral service will be Saturday, June 18, at 11:30 a.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
