Gordy was the most easygoing, and kindhearted man you could ever know. He was a well know musician playing the bass and steel guitar. He taught music at St Jude and OLPH.
Survivors include his wife, Chrissie Nichol; son, Harrison Nichol; father and step- mother, Gordon and Lane Nichol; and a sister, Noelle (John) Bittle.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 Sunday, November 5 and from 11:30 to 1:00 Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 Monday at the North Chapel with Father Charles Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
