Jack was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been a longtime resident of the Soddy Daisy area. He was retired from Best Plumbing. Jack was a member of Soddy Daisy First Baptist Church and was very active in his Sunday School Class.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Charlotte McCollum; ten children, Vicki Riness, Jeffery (Peggy) McCollum, Crystal (Frankie) Ramey, Connie Green, Bonnie Pendelton, Bryan McCollum, Dava (Glenn) Crouse, Tony (Shelia) Burnette, Curtis (Pam) Burnette and Scotty (Ginger) Burnette; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Barbie Cagle; many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their love and support during his illness.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Friday and 10:30 to 11:30 am on Saturday at the North Chapel.
Services for Jack will follow at 11:30 on Saturday at the North Chapel with Pastor Seton Tomyn officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
