He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Jack and Erline Swanson.
Tem received an Associate’s Degree in Forestry and was retired from BASF after working for 35 years.
He is of the Methodist faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Swanson.
He is survived by his children, Jamin (Kassi) Swanson, Alex (Courtney) Swanson and Cara Swanson; two grandchildren, Riley & Legend Swanson.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Lee Nash officiating.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Hwy.153, Hixson, TN 37343.
