Jim attended Chattanooga First Wesleyan Church. He retired from ADS Security and employed part time with Pizza Hut in Ooltewah.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Bullard and mother, Ruby Rausch.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gail Bullard of Ooltewah; two sons, James William Bullard, Jr. (Sherry) of Chattanooga and Eric E. Bullard of Ooltewah; sister, JoAnn Campbell of East Ridge; step-dad, Gilbert Rausch; four grandchildren, Chris Bullard of Red Bank, Justin Bullard (Paige) of Chattanooga; Justyn Sisk and Haley Bullard both of North Carolina; two great grandchildren, Brielle Bullard of Chattanooga and Hayden Bullard of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday and 12 to 2:30 pm on Thursday at the North Chapel.
Services for Jim will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday at the North Chapel with Doctor Marlin Hotle officiating, Pastor David Marcum to read the eulogy and prayer presented by Pastor Kevin Dunn. Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park with a graveside prayer by Pastor Jake Carroll.
