James was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Scoggins Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Scoggins; son, Robert Scoggins and step-daughter, Missy Clemons; brother, Gary Scoggins; mother, Ruth Rackley and an aunt, Lucille Malone.
There will be no services or visitation.
