Diane and I first met as co-workers and we quickly became friends. She was a wonderful Christian example to me in the workplace and in life. She prayed with me and for me and she always pointed me to Christ in difficult situations. She was never a friend who told me what I wanted to hear, but she was a friend who told me what I needed to hear.

She was so patient and kind. She handled employee benefits when we worked together, and no matter how many years of the same questions she received, she was kind and attentive to each person. It mattered to her that she helped that one person. She had challenges and struggles, but her first step was to trust God’s sovereign hand. She laughed whenever possible and she was quick to pray when there was anything in her heart other than love for someone. She was a person who truly wanted to serve the Lord and love others.

It had been years since we worked together, but I was blessed that we remained friends. I treasure the times we had together – wonderful talks and shared stores. She loved David, Dale, Jill, Pressley, and her Little Princess, Kayden. I told her many times that her marriage to David was such a wonderful testimony and example of unconditional love. I love how they loved and enjoyed spending time with each other. I don’t think I’ve ever met a couple who laughed as much as they did, even in trying times.

I will miss Diane’s gift of friendship in my life. I will miss her laughter, her love for others, knowing that she prayed for me daily, and her example of authentic faith. She leaves a legacy of loving well and giving of herself for others for God’s glory. Well done, my sweet friend.

I miss you,
Joy

Diane is home now and I know that that laugh of hers is making heaven that much sweeter! Oh that laugh!!! I can hear it now. .. The one thing I remember most about Diane was that big smile and bubbling laugh!

My prayers and thoughts go out to David and Dale and the rest of the family. It has been a privilege to have been Diane's friend since the late 70's. We have shared much and I look forward to one day seeing her again.

Until then.... I will hold onto her memory!

I met Diane in 1980. If you were BLESSED to have Diane as your friend, you felt her love and concern. Diane was a prayer warrior and always went an extra ten miles to help her family, a friend or a member of the body of Christ!!

I SHALL MISS YOU DEARLY MY LOVING FRIEND!!! I know you are rejoycing in the presense of our King, shouting and dancing on the streets of gold! Please tell Garry, I miss him too!!!
