Jeannine Jones Caylor, 93, passed away March 05, 2025. She was born on October 20 in Woodstation GA. She is proceeded by her husband of almost 65 years, Thurman Caylor. Her parents were Vernon Jones and Matilda (Potts) Jones, older brother Lester Jones and twin brother Eugene Jones.
She is survived by children Jeanette Baugh (husband Ernest) and Tim Caylor (wife Shawn Marie), grandchildren Lee Caylor and Rachelle Caylor Gibson (husband Mark) and great granddaughter Emma Gibson.
She worked for optometrist Dr. Yagouda in East Ridge for 25 years. As a loyal customer, she also had a second family at the East Ridge Cracker Barrel. In their earlier years together, Thurman and Jeannine always delighted in hosting friends and family get togethers for the holidays with lots of food, fun and love. She loved making beautiful cakes and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was loved by many in the community and will be greatly missed.
Her service will be at Chattanooga Funeral Home 5401 TN-153 in Hixson. Visitation will be Sunday March 09 from 2-4 and Monday March 10 from 1:30- 2:30. The funeral service will be Monday at 2:30 in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
