Jeff was a devoted husband, father, and son. He proudly served in the United States Navy and graduated summa cum laude from Bryan College in Dayton, Tn. He was a respected member of the safety and logistics community.
He is survived by his wife, Kellie; his children, Caitlin and Jack; his parents, Charles Tanner and Louella Tanner; his in-laws, Mike and Ann Lindsey, and Jim Long; as well as extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel in Hixson. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Jeff’s life.
A private burial will take place at a later time for immediate family.
