Mr. Wilson was born and raised in Chattanooga. He graduated from Riverside High School Class of 1970 and was a member of Prospect Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. Jehu retired from the City of Chattanooga Public Works Department. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a member of the Sin City Disciples motorcycle group and the Breezeway Club. He was also the best truck driver ever “Catman”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Glenda Wilson; and brother, Charles Wilson.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Karen Wilson; children, Terrance (Unique) McKibbens, Kevin Murdock, Myron Wilson, Khona Wilson and Glenda E. Wilson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Verrita King, Queen Ann Glass, Connie Hightower and Pat Hightower; brother, George Hightower; Goddaughter, Florida Wynn; Godmother, Janet M. Moore.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, February 8th at Chattanooga Funeral Home - North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
Celebration of Life will be at 1 PM Friday, February 9th at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church (734 Dodson Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404) with Dr. Rev. J. P. Trimble officiating.
