Jenell was retired from Bi-Lo after 38 years of service working at the Hixson and Rivermont stores. She was of the Methodist faith.
Jenell was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Napier; parents, Marie and Edward Parker; stepmom, Gracie Gertrude Parker; and a brother, Lawrence Parker.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Debbie Napier; grandchildren, Lee, Jade and Amber Napier; siblings and spouses, Cecilia (Jim) James, Wayne (Vicki) Parker, Roy (Gayle) Parker, Dana (Leslie) Parker, Fred Parker, Cathy (David) Van Oosterwyk and Theresa (Mac) McMurtrie; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 17, and 1 to 2 pm on Wednesday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A celebration of life service will follow at 2 pm on Wednesday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Philip Cornelius officiating.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
