She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. JoAnn was a very stylish Lady who was a hairdresser and greatly enjoyed styling hair.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Van Smith and Lillian Inez Cagle Smith, her son, Timothy Davis, and three sisters, Jennifer Fulghum, Ava Lee Hickey, and Brenda Inez Smith.
JoAnn is survived by her son, Tony (Lisa) Davis, and daughter, Heather (Chris) Petriccione; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; her sister, Levan (Glen) Sims; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for JoAnn will be held on at 3:00 PM EDT Wednesday September 23, 2026, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with Pastor Dwight Martin and Pastor Greg Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at North Chapel.
