Had so much fun playing golf with Joe! Always quick with an encouraging word when the tree monkeys would reach out and steal my golfballs. Gonna miss him!

I'll not soon forget "Mr. Joe." We sat next to one another at HVCC and I always got a big hug and smile from him every Sunday. If I got to church before him I knew to look for "his" seat, one row behind a certain support beam. I never heard him complain about anything, he was always positive and wonderful to talk to. He will be missed by a great many people. Katie O. Holliman

You will be greatly miss, friend! I am very thankful for the month that I was able to work in a place where I saw you everyday! You were a true legacy of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and a great inspiration. Rest well, Mr. Benson.
