Dad I will never forget that you and I shared a Love for horses that I still have today.  I will always remember the Sunday Afternoon Pony Rides at Fun Land, and on a daily basis I remember you and all your funny sayings, Like "See you in the funny's"  "How do you like them apples"  and the funny characters you played like "The Whistler"  I bet only I remember that.  I have missed you for many years but now you are really gone.  Rest in Peace  Till we meet again!

I recall fondly all the Sundays we sat together at church.  Joe is a fine man and will be greatly missed, but we will all be together again and can worship Jesus side by side one day.  Our sympathies to Nina and Joe and Alicia and the grandkids.  We are close by if needed.  Mike and Marilynn Nabors

Goodbye, Sweet Uncle Joe. A gentle, genuinely kind man who viewed his role as husband, father and grandfather as paramount in his life. He wasn't afraid of hard work and always provided for his family above and beyond.  His sister, my mother (Margaret) adored her younger brother and now they are together again in Heaven. Thank you for all the wonderful photographs you shared on the web site. I enjoyed each one, especially those with my parents included. Sweet Uncle Joe has gone to paradise to join those who have passed before him and to wait to greet us for when it is our time.  Any and all memories I have of my Dear Uncle are his gentle manner and kindness.  He was such a hard working man and he enjoyed his chores on is little Ponderosa while living in Nyeland Arces.  His joy came from being a good husband, father and grandpa.  All of our thoughts and prayers go out to The whole Montijo family as these hard days of grieving commence.  Thank you for sharing all of the wonderful pictures.  I loved looking at them.
