We didn't have the opportunity to know John & Barb for very long but our memories are precious. John and Barb were faithful volunteers at the Soddy-Daisy Food Bank and we were blessed to spend several hours together serving the needy of Northern Hamilton County. John always wore that precious smile and put his heart into each task. He will be long remembered.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Barb and all the family. 'Go rest high on that mountain John, your work on earth is done'.

John was always smiling and I was blessed to know him. Prayer for all the family. I'll see you again one day John. I moved away, but always have many memories that are great from the stories he told to the knowledge he shared about making fishing rods.
