To the Pierce Family - 
Please know that there are many thoughts and prayers storming the gates of heaven for Chas and your family.  We are praying for God to provide comfort and peace for you.  Hoping you may find some comfort in knowing Chas is with The Lord now, is  cancer free and is suffering no more.

Katie and John, I had the honor of working with Chas during his physical therapy the summer of 2010. He was such a joy to be around and always made us laugh. My favorite memory is when we dyed his hair blue after one of his therapy sessions (Katie-Chas wanted to see your reaction!) As an adult, I can honestly say that this 14 year old little boy was my role model - he displayed so much courage and love. He has touched so many lives, mine included. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys.

Dear Parents, I'm just one of the Regional teachers...I  witnessed the grace and brilliance of Chas by glimpses and brief meetings in the hallways, but I know his favorite teacher, Charise Walley!  Chas has impacted the lives of ALL of us at Regional...you should know that.  We all love him dearly, and appreciate the gifts he bestowed on us.  With love and gratitude!  Lauren Gregory

John and family, yall are in our hearts and in our prayers.  What a battle precious Chaz fought and showed such love and courage along the way. He lived by such example and will be so deeply missed.

What an incredible, courageous little boy! The slide show says it all.  His suffering was deep and long.  He shall be dearly missed. To all who loved him, he will be greatly missed. His existence changed the lives of many people.  Now, he is with God and he will feel no pain any longer. May God Bless the family of Chas, especially his mother, Judge Katie Pierce and his father, John Pierce, and Ely and extended relatives.
