He was an avid fisherman, reader, and guitarist who loved music and life. Jonathan worked for Federal Express for 35 years and leaves many friends and colleagues behind.
He was the son of James West and the late Betty Manners West.
He is survived by his brother, James (Debbie) West, longtime companion, Jincey Chambliss, three daughters, Heather (Joel) Jones, Christine (Marty) Troglen, and Lorien (Charles) Castor, and many grandchildren, all of who were the lights of his life.
A memorial gathering will be held at Chickamauga Lake at 4:00pm and a potluck celebration of life will be held at St. John UMC Activity Gym at 6:00pm on January 29th.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN.
